off for the weekend

Well, nothing like leaving again after only 5 days at home but this weekend is the annual Kinetic Sculpture Race in Port Townsend, Washington and I never miss it! I love the event and the cute little town so much that I invite a crew of my friends to drive up and stay in a big ol' suite and get dressed up like teenagers. It's a blast! The highlight is the ball at the American Legion. The band is never great but everyone, and I mean everyone, dances and the costumes are ridiculously delightful. I better get my suitcase packed so we can get on the road! I'll post pictures next week. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. *a
